Fall 2020 Dashboard

Test results reported from September 8, 2020 until November 28, 2020. During Fall 2020, the dashboard was updated every Monday with the previous week’s testing data. Fall term ended on November 24, 2020 and winter term will begin on January 4, 2021. Updates resuming in January are available on the new dashboard.

Kalamazoo College’s curriculum was entirely virtual for Fall 2020, and residence halls were closed. The majority of employees were also working remotely. Although the College was not engaging in surveillance testing, students were able to receive diagnostic testing through the Kalamazoo College Student Health Center (SHC).

This dashboard was updated every Monday with the results of the COVID-19 diagnostic tests administered at the SHC and with self-reported student and employee data. Individual students may have received more than one type of test through the SHC in one day, so the “SHC Tests” row reports the weekly sum of testing encounters (defined as the number of people tested per day) instead of the total number of tests administered. Self-reporting is voluntary, so these data may not accurately reflect the entire College community’s COVID-19 status. These data are subject to change as additional test results are reported.
